LETTER: Blame voters for the densification of Oak Bay

Oak Bay's municipal hall on Oak Bay Avenue.

Rick Lee (Letter: Oak Bay residents living in fear of densification) only has to look to the October 2024 provincial election results to see that a resounding 49% of his neighbours voted for the NDP and the densification he describes.

And a further 20% of his neighbours voted for the Greens, who support the NDP's densification agenda.

This is democracy in action. And now the many Oak Bay "Champagne Socialists" are reaping what they sowed.

This is yet another reminder that actions have consequences.  And of the importance of being informed about what you are voting for before you vote!

Did the writer express his concerns about the NDP's very public plans for building diversification in Oak Bay before the election? Because it's far too late to express those concerns now.
