Just before Christmas, the Memorial Park Society published an ad thanking the individuals and businesses who did so much to improve the pathways in Blue Heron Park.
As someone who walks those trails regularly, I also want to express appreciation to everyone involved. It is so much easier and more pleasant to be able to walk on dry gravel rather than through wet mud. Someone has also cleared the trees and brush that fell across the paths in the recent wind storms.
These relatively simple acts of maintenance and improvement really make a big difference for residents who enjoy and value these small bits of woodland so close to home.
