Ghost Ramen in Victoria promises 'this isn't goodbye' as it announces end-of-June closure.

A popular downtown Victoria eatery promises a return even amid its impending closure.

“After an incredible run, Ghost Ramen will be wrapping up service at the end of June – and we want to celebrate every spicy, slurpy moment with you,” the restaurant announced on social media. “Thank you for all the love, laughs, and late-night bowls. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

The post hints at what’s next for the space at 1609 Store St., suggesting patrons keep their “eyes and appetites open.”

Within minutes of posting the announcement, spurred a flurry of sadness from clientele.

“It’s been an absolute honour to serve what we proudly believe is some of the best ramen around, and to be part of your cravings, date nights, and comfort food rituals,” the post reads.

“This isn’t goodbye – it’s see you later. We’re exploring ways to bring Ghost Ramen closer to you, so stay tuned to get your fix.”
