Re: Sidney councillor calls for ban of all short-term rentals .

In these unprecedented times, faced with a threat to our very food security, it would only be appropriate for the Town of Sidney to be looking at legalizing backyard hens.

A recent letter to the editor suggested that monarchy would be an improvement on our current political system.

I saw a statement on the back of a plumbing truck that said, “A plumber you can trust.”

Shore power anyone?

I live in Central Saanich and am an avid walker. Everywhere I go, I see colourful bags of dog feces – along pathways, in ditches, hanging in bushes, on fences. This is not responsible dog ownership.

As a resident of Dallas Road, in a unit that faces south, I have a constant view of traffic on both Dallas Road as well as on the new mixed-use pathway running alongside Dallas Road.

When the COVID-19 pandemic was in its early stages, grocery stores were open and made many alterations to keep us all safe whilst shopping for essentials. Those measures by retailers were supplemented by many patrons wearing masks/face coverings and some even wearing disposable gloves.
