It disturbs me to read and hear the reactions against the speculation tax.

First, let me clarify – I rent a suite in Saanich, and I am not a property owner.

Adam Olsen blames the housing crisis on the former B.C. Liberal government stating “they allowed the situation to erode”. This ignores the fact that affordable housing is a problem in all major cities in the world.

I wish to add my name to the list of residents opposed to the proposed Sea Lore project.

I was puzzled by the letter from Richard Young as to just how the construction of a bridge from Cobble Hill area to Moses Point would “ reduce emissions from transport vehicles that would use the bridge instead of highway and reduce traffic on Pat Bay going up Island .”

It is the end of an era for Breadstuffs Bakery in Brentwood Bay after 21 years in operation. We are sad to be losing the much-loved Breadstuffs.

We are writing in support of the letter the mayor and council received recently from the Victoria Natural History Society calling for the ownership of domestic cats to be regulated.
