We are grateful to hear that the CRD and Saanich now believe they won’t need to cut down up to 50 trees on Grange Road in Saanich, in order to construct a residual solids conveyance line to the Hartland Landfill.

I am a regular traveller through Sidney going from and to the ferry. At this time of year, it can be quite a lonely trip as I travel five hours each way to reach my mom in Victoria.

I find the statement that “ hailing an Uber or Lyft is no different than calling a friend for a ride ” misleading. A friend is someone who is known to you, and probably fairly well if you are calling them for a ride. This likely would not be the case with an Uber or Lyft driver.
